Before I start I would like everyone to read the poem that Ellen wrote about Jim I will post it at the end of the blog. If you new him it will make you cry.

The county called last Thursday wanting my permission to come and take pictures of the site. I said come on down. They were suppose to expedite the permit, have yet to hear from them. I got the OK from the engineer to use screws in place of sixteen D nails Will make It a lot easier, also got approval for some minor changes to the trusses. WE got the juke box up and running on Friday have yet to receive the replacement CPU in order to fix the sweepstake machine that's down. Lucky Heidi was selected two weeks in a row to play sheriff. Her pick, envelope #6 and again no Queen. This weeks reward will be$1,600.00. After the draw the band "Off the Hook" entertained the troops. Saturday & Sunday were pretty quiet, Race winners were David Clausen $125 .00 and 12 points  2nd place Mike H., the point leader, $75.00 and 10 points The two $1.00 board winners were Jim Davis and {San Jose} John for $40.00 ea. Remember this Sunday will be installation at 2 o'clock.

                                                        EASY TO PLEASE
JIM JIM where do I start

All this sadness I am feeling comes straight from my Heart

I met you & your sidekick at the local bar.

Cowboy Allen had pointed the two of you out from afar.

Along, about three years or more.

Funny, I always felt we had met somewhere before.

You never complained, nor did you ever whine.

You liked talking about where the two of you had just dined.

Every time, I would see you and Margit.

I was always pleased that we had met.

You always showed style, class and you carried yourself well.

Even when my jokes were beyond bad: you never gave me hell.

I was fortunate enough to spend time with both of you.

The adventures were fun: too bad there were so few

There was BINGO, a Sunset Cocktail Party, and a Parking Lot Sale.

Laughs were plenty: & homeward bound, none of us ended up in jail .

When I first started bartending, your patience shined

The Martini's weren't  perfect you would just smile and switch to wine.

The day you fooled Robert & yelled BINGO two different times .

He grabbed your card & raced to the front of Larry's line.

Our table was in stitches, laughing so hard

Low & behold you still needed one more card.

My tears are hitting this paper as I write down this rhyme.

God  why can't we just turn back time

Jim, I hope in Heaven, the Martini's are the way you like them

Save some olives for the rest of us.... We MISS YOU.... Amen
