Well Tuesday was kind of slow, everyone was getting over their New Years Eve partying.
Wednesday we had a Red Cross Blood Drive that netted 36 pints of blood. Mike and the kitchen crew fixed a great Meat Loaf for dinner.
Thursday was meeting night. I will try and give an overview of the E-Board Meeting.
The meeting was opened at 6:00p.m. by Commander Dan Clay.
The second vice, Alex Castro, resigned. The Commander wanted to thank Victor, Denise and Mike for their preparation of the Wednesday night dinner. One of our members, Ed Mitchel, volunteered to help the Post with the Veterans Day parade in the fall . There is a program to recognize Viem Nam Vets who have passed away but did not die in the war. Our service officer will review this information. Two pressure washers and a pump have recently been stolen from the tool shed. Mike will look into what the cost will be to have more security cameras installed. We will also secure access to the storage area.
Jim, the Boy Scout leader for troop 275(located in Prunedale) would like the Post to charter the troop 275.
The board voted to accept the motion. Terry will be the liaison for the Post. The meeting was adjourned at 6:43 p.m.

Thursday we had a great lunch, which by-the-way is free every Thursday. After lunch we play Wham-Bingo. Joyce scored three "jackpots" in a row. As noted above the first Thursday of the month is our membership meeting. Friday night was S.A.L's.night in the kitchen. They had great hamburgers. The drawing for the $3,000.00 Queen of Hearts went to Mikey. His guess was envelope #35, wrong, the Ace of Hearts showed up, no cigar, no money either. Being that he was not present, we drew a second ticket for the $100.00. David Clausen scored again. The reward for Friday 1/11/2013 will be 3,300.00.
Saturday's private party went off without a hitch and yielded a very good night for the canteen. Sunday was breakfast. There was no Jam in the evening.
Will hook up with everyone next week and let you know what happened.
