Larry's Update

Monday, Monday, about the only thing good about Monday's is it gets you started for the rest of the week. I got the hall cleaned up, finished the inventory, and ordered all the supplies by 9;00 AM. The rest of the day was a piece of cake. Tuesday, is put every thing that came in away. I came  in at about 1am and ran the RCA cables from the Juke Box to the amp located behind the bar. After that I mounted three speakers  and ran the wires to the AMP. About 6:00 AM I noticed that the condenser in the cooler was froze over and was not letting the cooler get cold. Had to defrost it with the heat gun.  Wednesday was our 1st round of elimination for our karaoke contest. The first three winners were Rachel Ferrell, Kelly Dodge and Mike Barnes Second round coming up this Wed.  The kitchen did a great job on there chicken chili. Thursday was a great Day. We celebrated the 4th with a killer BBQ and a great time listening to the music provided by the Roadhouse Band. Friday was SAL's time to cook up their fabulous Hamburgers.  The Queen draw went to Carmen and envelope #12. Again it was close but no cigar, the King of Hearts made his appearance known. Next week draw worth 3,000.00  the Jokers are now worth $100.00. Saturday it was pretty slow until the race started ,what a finish  The Money winners were Johnney[Jew] for $500,00 Dale North $150.00 Jim & Margit, Sheldon, Larry& Bel all for$50.00 ea. Chet was the big winner on the $6.00 board with $125.00 and 12 points followed by Harry with 75.00 in cash and 10 points.  Carmen and Victor won the $1.00 boards for $40.00 ea.  With no race on Sunday it's like a day off .
