Larry's Update

Well it's that time of the week again, Monday.  Not a lot to write about this week. Monday was order day and pick your NASCAR numbers for the race on the 26th. No points race this week but there will be a All-Star race on Saturday night.  Tuesday when the order came in it was screwed up for the second week in a row.  Donna refused the 6 bottles of Bailey's Caramel, should of been the Irish Cream Original.  Tuesday's are Member appreciation night. It seems to be getting better.   Wednesday was Karaoke. That too was a little better this go around.  Thursday, as always, is free lunch and Wham Bam Bingo. We had enough players that all the cards were picked.  Dave Dolan again donated 3 red and 2 blue chips, he was sharing his good luck from the sweepstakes machines.  Stan and Bella won the blackout games.  Friday night Big Mike and the kitchen crew put out a great Rib Eye Steak dinner.  The Queen drawing went to Mickey and his pick revealed the 8 of Clubs in envelope #52.  Again no winner.  Next week's reward will be worth $2,200.00.   Saturday was the NASCAR All-Star race starting at 4 o'clock.  We had pit stops at the kitchen every thing was a dollar.  Rommey won the $100.00 dollar pool and Victor was the lucky person to win $50.00 in a drawing at the end of the Race.  Earlier, Wayne won the pot for the horse Race.   Sunday the post cooked breakfast, latter we had the hall rented for a Birthday party. The ALR had their meeting and a BBQ in the Gazabo area.   It seems like every one had a great time.   It looks like I had better get a early start in the morning because  I have a mess to clean up.  I think the weather is going to be great all week so  come on out and pay us a visit
